Welcome to our celebration of the Young Creative Musicians participating in our online festival.

Celebrating All Genres Of Music in UK Secondary Schools

The young musicians featured on this page were carefully selected from the many entries we received from schools across the UK. All the entries were divided into one of three categories based on age: Key Stage 3 (11-14), Key Stage 4 (15-16) and Key Stage 5 (17-18). The top 6 represented two pieces from each category.

The music was passed on to YolanDa Brown OBE DL who made the final decision as to which was the winner and which was runner-up in each age group. All was revealed in our free, live Masterclass Webcast on 27th June, hosted by YolanDa with Bryan Plumb, CEO and founder of BEE Digital.

Santiago Lloyd (Winner 17-18 Category), St Ambrose College said:

"The MusicFirst Young Creative Musician Festival has encouraged me to take pride in my art and to have the courage to share it. When I heard the name of my piece said as the winner, I was thrilled and felt a sense of accomplishment. Thank you to everyone involved in the competition to help me move to the next phase in my producing career."
