Music education is at a very interesting moment in time. In a post-pandemic world, during which music educators were forced to adopt technologies as a way to keep their programs going, we are now faced with the possibilities and unknowns of artificial intelligence (AI). Rather than running away from AI or sticking our heads in the sand, this session will demonstrate how AI can be used as a way to engage our students and help teachers deliver the very best music education experience possible. In addition, a survey of the many existing technologies will be discussed with a focus on how they can be effectively integrated into our instruction.
